Georgia Ciavatta (1986) is an Italian singer, composer and vocal coach based between Switzerland and Italy. Her music blends jazz, pop and contemporary songwriting, where emotional authenticity meets sonic exploration.
As the voice of Sugarpie & The Candymen (2008–2016), she released four albums on Irma Records and toured internationally, performing at Umbria Jazz, Jazz Ascona (Award Winners 2011), Madrid Jazz Festival and many other major stages across Europe and the US — as well as radio and TV broadcasts including the Christmas Concert at the Vatican (Rai1).
With her project ISOLA, she now explores an alternative sonic world blending pop, jazz textures and poetic songwriting. The album Facing Me (2024) marks a significant evolution in her artistic vision. She also collaborates with Conférence International, revisiting forgotten repertoire from jazz, blues and bossa nova.
Trained at JazzCampus Basel with a degree in music pedagogy from Bern University of the Arts (HKB), Georgia also works as a vocal coach, promoting a teaching philosophy rooted in expressive freedom and artistic individuality.
